About Me
I am a performance-style audiobook narrator with a clear alto voice, a theater background, and a near-obsessive dedication to getting every word right. If you are an author or publisher seeking a narrator who can build a full cast of characters and hold a listener ’s attention from the first line to the last, you are in the right place.
I was raised in a radio family, so a microphone has always felt like home. My very first on-air job came at age nine—a single line for a Thanksgiving turkey giveaway: "Guess who got the bird!" That was me. (No autographs, please.)
This early start grew into a lifelong love of reading, language, and the sound of a well-told story. Born and raised in South Louisiana, I earned my degree in Speech Communications from Newcomb College of Tulane University in New Orleans. Today, I am also an active singer and actress in our regional community theater scene, where I learned how to inhabit a character.
My acting experience shapes everything I do behind the microphone. I specialize in performance-style narration, giving each character a distinct voice, personality, and rhythm so dialogue feels alive rather than read. When a project requires clean, straightforward narration, I deliver that with the same care and clarity.
I love true crime and suspense, with a particular fascination for stories about serial killers. My voice suits a wide range of genres, including fiction, nonfiction, mystery, thrillers, romance, technical work, and children’s books. Whether I am reading to curious kids or captivated adults, my goal remains the same: to make every listener feel as if the story was written just for them.
For years, I have balanced a full-time career as a computer professional with narrating audiobooks at night and on weekends. Now, I am building toward the second chapter of my professional life—dedicating myself fully to the work I love most.
This focus means you will have a partner who truly commits to your project. I will work closely with you to understand your vision, honor your voice, and produce audio you are proud to share.

My acting experience is rooted in regional community theater, where I performed in professional, high-quality productions for both adults and children. Those years on stage taught me how to fully inhabit a character, sustain a complex emotional arc, and shape a performance that holds an audience from the opening scene to the final bow. I bring every one of those skills directly to your audiobook.
That foundation means your listeners get more than a clean read. Whether your story is a gripping thriller, a sharp-witted comedy, or a tender romance, my narration draws on a deep understanding of dramatic structure and vocal characterization. I read for the tension, the timing, and the truth of each moment, so your characters feel distinct and your story lands exactly as you intended.

Home Studio

Every recording begins with a quiet, controlled space, and mine was built for exactly that. My home narration studio occupies a former bedroom closet that was completely gutted and professionally sound-treated to create an acoustically clean environment. The result is excellent vocal clarity and a consistently low noise floor, giving your project a pristine foundation for professional audiobook production.
I record with a RØDE NT1 Signature Series large-diaphragm condenser microphone paired with a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 (4th Generation) audio interface. I record and edit on a Dell Windows 11 PC, using REAPER as my digital audio workstation and iZotope RX 10 Standard for audio processing, restoration, and cleanup.
For monitoring, I rely on Sennheiser HD 280 Pro closed-back headphones. They may be two decades old, but they remain an industry standard for a reason: dependable, accurate, and still the best tool for the job.
Together, this setup delivers clean, polished audio that meets the technical standards publishers and listeners expect.

My Approach to AI

Every audiobook I narrate is a genuine human performance. Character development, emotional interpretation, pacing, storytelling—each choice comes from my own voice, experience, and artistic judgment.
I use technology to handle administrative tasks and improve production efficiency, but never to generate or replace my narration. That line stays firm. When you hand me your manuscript, you get authenticity, nuance, and a personal connection that no algorithm can replicate.
Authors and publishers trust me for one simple reason: their stories deserve more than a synthetic voice reading words on a page. They deserve a performer who feels every line and delivers it with intention.
Your story deserves a real performance—and that's exactly what I deliver.
